Introduction
I am a embedded systems software engineer (fancy title: Technical Lead) working full time for a small (but growing) company called JetHead Development, Inc. located in beautiful Carlsbad. I have always had an interest in other areas of software development besides linux embedded systems development. Enter the Internet. I have always tinkered but never taken the plunge until a close friend who happens to be a talented graphics designer needed some coding work done. Enter “MEEC”. Our first project, which turned out well, although late in schedule. I’m also doing some work for Danny (with Tiffany doing graphics) and hosting his websites for his business. I have now become proficient in wordpress plugins, templates, and overall design.
Business
I am currently getting ready to start hosting as a reseller soon and will have more information as I progress in this new endeavor. My goal is to offer hosting for small companies who have not yet made an online presence. I will help get a site setup, and offer some sort of technical support in keeping the site up.
Pleasure
My wife and I enjoy the outdoors so we do lots of travel including offroading in our Jeep whenever we get the chance. We aren’t your average offroad destructionists however, we are avid supporters of Cal4Wheel, Tread Lightly, Blue Ribbon Coalition and others. I am a busy-body who love to have many things to do at once. I fill my free time with tinkering, hacking code, and general computer stuff.
Plans
I plan to keep this site up to date with fresh technologies, helpful scripts, tips, etc. to keep me busy, and hopefully help somebody out! Making a little extra money couldn’t hurt either!
